The Card Tempered Resurrection has the text "Fire Open: Bow this Shugenja
unless he has the Fire keyword: You may remove an honorably dead Personality
you own from the game. Target a face-up Personality in one of your
provinces. Reduce his Gold Cost by the Gold Cost of any Personality you
removed. Bring the target into play (paying all costs)."
Now the ruling i would like on it is, if i remove a non dead personality
with Master Saleh, which says "Spider Clan • Jackal • Shugenja • Lose 2
Honor.
Limited: Pay 3 Gold and remove a target Personality in any discard pile from
the game: Lose 2 Honor. Create a 2F/2C Undead Ghul Shadowlands
Personality.", from my opponents discard pile, with a gold cost of, lets say
10. Would i be able to use Tempered Resurrection and remove one of my
honorabley dead personalitys for the cost, and then for the effect key it
off of the 10 gold cost personality that i removed with the Master Saleh,
since Tempered Resurrection says "Reduce his Gold Cost by the Gold Cost of
any Personality you removed. Bring the target into play (paying all costs)."
Because the effect does not say anything about honorably dead personalities
that have been removed.
