Summoned to Justice and presence

L5R CCG Rules board, 28 May 2007

A topic from AEG's L5R CCG Rules forum, copied for Oracle of the Void from a copy of the forum saved in October 2015, so pages it didn't save are missing. Players' names are left out; the rules officials are named. Rulings are as they stood on these dates; later rulings, the rulebooks and the Rules Archive may differ.

Does Summoned to Justice meet the requirements for presence at a battle in which I have no Personalities in? Specifically, can I take this action during a battle in which I have no Personalities present, but an unbowed Courtier in my home?

Political Battle: Target one of your unbowed Courtiers at any location: Move home a target attacking Personality. If he moved, bow him. If he is dishonorable, his controller loses Honor equal to his base Personal Honor.
