Ok, accordin to this:
"If the cost of an action or bringing a card into play is changed after the card or action has been announced, or if the payment of the cost was prevented, the player attempting to play the card or action may either allow the action or card to fail, or may use further resources to pay the altered costs. If the costs are not paid, the action or card has no effect. Costs already paid are not refunded. If the card was being played from the hand, it goes to the discard pile. If the failed action came from a card on the table, it still counts against any limits on use, such as 'once per turn'."
Lets say i use I KNow That Trick with 3 personalities in the battlefield, target a Randon Crab and and Hida Benjiro (Experienced) issues me a challenge and kill the initial target of my action. The rule allow me to choose a new target to dishonor and create the ranged attack( further resources). Does the same works with Guerrilla Tactics and Old Alliances??
Cards:
Title: Hida Benjiro (Experienced)
Text: Crab Clan Samurai • Yu 4 • Hero • Experienced • Unique
Reaction: After another player's action targets a Crab Clan Personality you control in Benjiro's location: Target a Personality the player controls. Benjiro challenges him to an unrefusable duel of Force
Title: I Know That Trick
Text: Battle: Target a Personality you control at the current battlefield: He produces a number of simultaneous Ranged 1 Attacks up to his Force.
Battle: Target and Dishonor a Personality you control at the current battlefield: He produces a Ranged Attack with a strength equal to his Force.
Title: Guerrilla Tactics
Text: Battle: Target, Dishonor, and permanently give the Shadowlands trait to an unbowed Personality you control at the current battlefield: He produces two consecutive Ranged Attacks with strengths equal to his Force and his Chi, in either order. If he is defending, bow him. Lose 3 Honor.
Title: Old Alliances
Text: Political Open: Bow one of your target Courtiers: Target a Personality. His controller may choose to dishonor him. If the target is now honorable, he cannot assign or move during the next Attack Phase this turn.
