How would Stronger than Steel and Kakita interact in a scenario where Kakita is challenged by another duelist and the challenged player (Kakita) wants to focus more than one card after the challenging duelist's player focuses a Stronger than Steel?

Kakita focuses one card face-up, which the challenging player has the option to remove along with his Stronger than Steel, and then focus the remainder of his foci?

Kakita focuses all of his foci at one time, one card face-up which the challenging player has the option to remove along with Stronger than Steel?
