In reference to this post, wouldn't the timing be:
1) Announce Hasaiki's ability
2) Announce targets: 1 personality and a legal target for a ranged attack
3) resolve effects: bow personality
4) resolve effects: perform a ranged attack against previous target
No hiding place is done immediately before a ranged attack is performed. that would be step 4. The fact that a legal ranged attack target was announced back in step 2 is irrelevant. Since you're not actually targeting a ranged attack in that step, would No hiding place then be an illegal reaction to take? Further, when it is legal to take, the target has already been pre-determined by the ability, so No Hiding Place would be wasted there, right?

No Hiding Place changes allowable targets, so would be played when targeting occurs, regardless of when the Ranged Attack is actually produced. By card text, it is know that Hasaiki no Oni's ability will generate a Ranged Attack, so the ability can be used with No Hiding Place.
