Hello Gentlemen,
My opponent is playing Shiro Kitsuki. Two scenarios:
I'm attacking him, with a lonely Tsuruchi Arishia, at a province without defenders. He uses the stronghold to place a Samurai with less than four force (Mirumoto Gonkuro, for example) in the battle opposing me. Do I get to resolve Arishia's reaction before my opponent is able to resolve their battle action granted ny the stronghold?
What happens if I defend versus an army, pass (or they declare a naval invasion/play a sneak attack) and they again use the Shiro Kitsuki ability. Is the ruling the same. (In other words, does being the active player come into play?)
Thanks, and keep up the good work.

Yes. You get to respond once all immediate effects have resolved. That the stronghold allows another action doesn't change that it is a separate action.
Does being the active player come into play?
No.
