I just had two questions about a couple of the oni, and I could not find
any rules references to these two questions. If they have already been
asked, my appologies:
================
#1. For Hasaiki no Oni, do you need two seperate targets for the Battle
action? Since it refers to a first and second target, I am assuming it
required two, but I have heard contrary so was looking for clarification.
Relevant Text:
Hasaiki no Oni
Battle: Once per Battle, Target an Opposing personality and a legal
target for a Ranged attack from this card. Bow the first target. Produce a
ranged attack against the second with a strength equal to the first target's
force.
#2. For Sentei no Oni, he states that after he comes into play that he
negages all permanent effects on him. What happens if you use the
Egg of P'an Ku to copy Sentei no Oni and he dies? When he comes back
into play does the card become a unique action card again (because the
affect is Self-refering) and is no longer a person? If so, what happens to
said action card?
Relevant Text:
Sentei no Oni
Before your Events Phase, if Sentei no Oni is dead you may bring
it into play ignoring all costs. Negate all permanent effects on it.
The Egg of P'an Ku
* Reads, "The Egg of P'an Ku 9G 4FV Unique. Limited: Target a Personality, including a Unique Personality or one who will not join you. After entering play, this card becomes a copy of that Personality's printed card plus all permanent changes in effect on it. None of the Personality's costs need to be paid and no entering-play effects are produced." [MRP, Diamond Edition, 27 October 2003]
* Once played, it:
o Is a Personality permanently [DW, netnews, 4/5/96], even if destroyed. [RD, 4/8/96]
o Loses its status as a Unique action. [JA, email, 18 November 2003]
* If sent back to your Dynasty Deck, it actually goes in, despite being a Fate card. [DW, 14 November 1997] When it appears in a Province, it follows normal requirements and restrictions.
* May copy a Singular card. [ML, 5 August 2004]
Thanks.
