Hasaiki no Oni

Battle: Once per battle, target an opposing Personality and a legal target for a ranged attack from this card. Bow the first target. Produce a ranged attack against the second with strength equal to the first target's Force.

A bit of clarification please. The phrase "from this card" applies to what? "This card" is the oni himself, or the opposing personality with the ranged attack?

Also, the strength of the ranged attack is really equal to the force of the first target, or the force of the ranged attack of the first target?

"This card" is the Oni.

The ability bows Target A and then has the Oni produce a Ranged Attack against Target B with a Strength equal to the Force of Target A.
