If I have a personality at my home locked down by either gozoku or saori, could I tireless said personality into a battle and simply ignore the straightening aspect of tireless? Or does the person need the ability to straighten?
Quick Question regarding locked down mobility...
A topic from AEG's L5R CCG Rules forum, copied for Oracle of the Void from the Wayback Machine (its copy), so posts it didn't save are missing. Players' names are left out; the rules officials are named. Rulings are as they stood on these dates; later rulings, the rulebooks and the Rules Archive may differ.

Yes you can. You meet all targeting requirements of tireless, so the action is legal, you mave them in, but the unbowing fails. It's ok to have part of an action's effects fail. On a side note, if you have a way of keeping your self bowed, (eclispe) you can tireless, do the move, and choose not to unbow.
