Tireless Raid

L5R CCG Rules board, 5 February 2005 to 6 February 2005

A topic from AEG's L5R CCG Rules forum, copied for Oracle of the Void from the Wayback Machine (its copy), so posts it didn't save are missing. Players' names are left out; the rules officials are named. Rulings are as they stood on these dates; later rulings, the rulebooks and the Rules Archive may differ.

Tireless assualt says

Battle: Target a bowed or unbowed unit in your home that has not been in any battle during its resolution this Attack Phase. Straighten that unit and move it into the current battle.

So since a raid isn't in the attach phase can you tireless someone back into another raid battle province

Zen Faulkes (rules official), 5 February 2005

So since a raid isn't in the attach phase[...]

Incorrect. "...declare an Attack Phase... (Aramasu's Pride text).

Note that Tireless Assault says "this attack phase".

So someone who attacked in a Raid battle, was there when it resolved, and went home bowed, could have Tireless Assault played on them during the regular Attack Phase (since it's a _different_ Attack Phase).

Yup, this works. As you said, it's an entirely different attack phase.
