Please help to settle a minor dispute between otherwise peaceable and nice people
on the card it says "this army" in regards to grabbing someone. Does that refer to the army that Fushin is in or can the ability be used in a battle where you control no units whilst Fushin is at home or another battle, given that it creates a unit in the battle.

Yes, it does.

Thanks for clearing that up Its what I thought though I had an unscrupulous shadowlands player try and convince me otherwise

yes but cards like fushin that only affect the battle they are at usualy say in 'personality' army. and not this army
so if fushins ability only affected the army he is in shouldent his action say move a dishonnoured personality into fushins army. not this army
?

I am pretty sure Fushin's ability is to move a dishonored personality into his army.

'This army' is self-referential. If the card where the action is printed is not in the army in question, it would have to refer to 'that army'.
If it said an army in the current battle, you would be all good.

of course when I say unscrupulous I dont mean to target anyone, I mean shadowlands players by definition are unscrupulous
