So with cards like seeking the way, sudden movement etc. in order for the action to be completed you have to be able to complete the entire movement action correct? SO you can't sudden movement in an Ambush, or if someone is wearing an iron armor and they use seeking the way the other person can't move home because both people can't move? or is it a case by card basis?
Multiple personality movements
A topic from AEG's L5R CCG Rules forum, copied for Oracle of the Void from a copy of the forum saved in October 2015, so pages it didn't save are missing. Players' names are left out; the rules officials are named. Rulings are as they stood on these dates; later rulings, the rulebooks and the Rules Archive may differ.

There are three possibilities:
1. When a card says switch, like Sudden Movement, if one Personality's movement is negated, both are negated. 2. When a card has conditional movement, signified by the word "to", then the movement of the card must occur in order for the additional movement to occur (if the first is negated, the second is negated; the reverse is not true). Seeking the Way has a condition, but the bowing is what must happen for the movement to occur (both movements are independent). 3. If the movements are independent, like Seeking the Way, then one can occur and the other will not. This would be the case if one of the two Personalities affected by Seeking the Way had an Iron Armor attached.
