Does unforseen cost affect cards that are put into play after unforseen has been played?
Ex: UC is played. The other player puts thousand year rivalry in play. Then they issue a challenge that is refused. Does UC affect the honor I would gain from TYR?
Ex2: something with a trait like sparrow clan aid or kakita hikai.

The phrase "from his cards in play" is evaluated when the gain or loss occurs, not when Unforeseen Cost is played.
