If I use inspired leadership to copy an ability on a card that grants itself a bonus does the original card get the bonus if the copied ability is used?

A topic from AEG's L5R CCG Rules forum, copied for Oracle of the Void from a copy of the forum saved in October 2015, so pages it didn't save are missing. It does not. When self-referential abilities are copied, the new version of the ability only references the copied version/card, not the original.
