A topic from AEG's L5R CCG Rules forum, copied for Oracle of the Void from a copy of the forum saved in October 2015, so pages it didn't save are missing. The bonuses will not go away, as the Spell is still attached to the targeted Personality. However, without the Shugenja keyword, the Personality cannot cast the Invest 4 granted Battle ability.
It's not clear to me what happens exactly when the personnality loses shugenja: a) all traits, bonuses and actions given by the Spell (including the traits, the +2F and the Battle ability) are inactive b) only the battle action is inactive c) everything stays active
If the answer is b), I would like to understand why, as the wording of the 4GC invest is the same as the wording of the other 3 invests (and does not involve any "spell casting" notion).
Thanks.

Oops! I read Guidance to answer the previous question, and my brain substituted "Spell" in place of "Shugenja".
I'll edit my previous answer to indicate the traits all remain in effect, and remove mention of casting, as that is not applicable.
