Quick Question brought about due to VTD: Weapons and Kensai ...
So a Kensai may attach a second non-two-handed weapon, but if they lose the Kensai keyword, they become a Non-Kensai personality, which according to the definition "...can only have one Weapon Item attached." Does that mean they also lose a weapon if they lose the Kensai keyword?
The difference is in the tense of the word "attach" used in both definitions.
(from comp rules v1.7, pdf version)
Kensai: A Kensai Personality can attach two Weapons if neither of them is Two- handed. See Weapon (p. 63) and Two- Handed (p. 62).
Weapon: A Personality can have only one Weapon Item attached. Exception: See Kensai, p. 55.

Legality of attachments' attaching is only checked WHEN they attach, not constantly.
If a Kensai who already has two One-handed Weapons should lose Kensai, nothing happens to the Weapons.
