Traits passing up ala Suspending Wind

L5R CCG Rules board, 19 August 2014

A topic from AEG's L5R CCG Rules forum, copied for Oracle of the Void from a copy of the forum saved in October 2015, so pages it didn't save are missing. Players' names are left out; the rules officials are named. Rulings are as they stood on these dates; later rulings, the rulebooks and the Rules Archive may differ.

Does Suspending Wind count as an air spell? I was looking at Oracle and there are cards like Seeking the way that on the card do not say they are air but in the Oracle text block next to them they have air and then have their ability be Air battle etc. Suspending wind has an Air interrupt but in the Oracle text block doesn't have the air extra word.

Simply an Oracle formatting oversight. Abilities' keywords do pass up to the card itself. A Spell with an Air ability is always an Air Spell.
