A topic from AEG's L5R CCG Rules forum, copied for Oracle of the Void from a copy of the forum saved in October 2015, so pages it didn't save are missing. Players' names are left out; the rules officials are named. Rulings are as they stood on these dates; later rulings, the rulebooks and the Rules Archive may differ.
In addition to these questions:
When is the events phase? Certain cards such as A Walking Death and Open Recruitment refer to the events phase and I can't find this phase in the Ivory Rules.
Or did the 'Events Phase' just get changed to 'Beginning of Turn'?
Thanks

This is how most older Events will be handled, correct. Most "Events phase" triggers will check after revealing cards in provinces, but before the active player gets the first opportunity to take a Limited or Open action.
