"a deck" and "a Fate deck" question

L5R CCG Rules board, 29 April 2014

A topic from AEG's L5R CCG Rules forum, copied for Oracle of the Void from a copy of the forum saved in October 2015, so pages it didn't save are missing. Players' names are left out; the rules officials are named. Rulings are as they stood on these dates; later rulings, the rulebooks and the Rules Archive may differ.

Are cards like "It Was a Cat" (look at the top three cards of a deck) or Aberrations (Discard the top card of a Fate deck) reffers to any deck/any fate deck or your deck/your Fate deck?

They refer to any deck or any Fate deck, respectively. They would say "your" in place of "a" if they meant only your decks or Fate deck.
