Following http://www.alderac.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=59&t=107638&p=1416954&hilit=breaking#p1416982 Breaking the Rhythm can negate ongoing penalties/bonuses from traits so it somehow connects card that creates ongoing F modification with Personality targeted by Breaking (you need to remember that this particular ongoing effect, or multiple effects, is negated). My question is, if, and by what circumstances, can this modifier be replied?
Examples ^^ 1) 1 vs 1 battle, I have 2F Personality and just played Contentious Terrain - my opponent negates terrain bonus with Breaking the Rhythm. I move home with Fall Back! He passes. I go back to battle with Back to the Front. Does my Personality have 2 or 3F? In other words, does the bonus from terrain disappear, when it's trigger is suspended and reappear as new, not yet negated effect, when it's triggered again (by being "in current army") or is it just temporarily suspended and "remembers" that it was negated?
If, it does remember, then here goes further (much less practical - rather purely academic) question, where this memory is "stored". In source of ongoing effect or rather object of it? Or both?
2) Situation goes as previously, but his time after my opponent played Breaking I destroy my terrain with other one (eg. Blanketed Forest), then play Sleight of Hand put it up from discard and play again. By L5R philosophy memory of Contentious should be reset and it should be treated as brand new card, with not negated bonus, but this mean effect of negation connects two cards together lying in their "memory" and forces me to remember precisely which effect comes from which card and which of them are negated.

When you move home, the older bonus ends. When you move back in, a new effect begins. Thus, he has 3F, because it's a new effect.

What do you mean by memory? The effect ends, a new effect begins. No memory involved.

It is a new effect, and therefore it's not under the cope of Breaking the Rhythm. I'm afraid you must track which effects are negated, which effects end, and which effects begin anew.
