Okura is Released v Stout heart

L5R CCG Rules board, 22 January 2014

A topic from AEG's L5R CCG Rules forum, copied for Oracle of the Void from a copy of the forum saved in October 2015, so pages it didn't save are missing. Players' names are left out; the rules officials are named. Rulings are as they stood on these dates; later rulings, the rulebooks and the Rules Archive may differ.

Not quite understanding the interupts here but, i wanna use a fear effect to bow a dude and want to use okura is released to destroy it after its bows. Does my opponet have to react before i play okura is released to negate the fear? cause the way im reading it says "after it bows a thing" meaning the fear has resolved

Both Okura is Released and A Stout Heart interrupt the action generating the Fear effect. A Stout Heart can be played to interrupt the original action either before or after Okura is Released interrupts it - in either case, the bowing will be negated and Okura is Released will therefore not destroy anything.
