My group recently started playing and I wanted to confirm I am reading the rules on base force correctly: Base force is the unmodified force of a personality, while weapons and counters that have +F bonuses increase his effective force and followers added to his unit add to his unit force?
For example, if my Hida Yamadera (8F) has a Gift Armour (+3F) and a Hiruma Sniper (3F) attached: Base force = 8 (Yamadera's printed value) Actual force = 11 (Yamdera's printed value + Gift Armour) Unit force = 14 (All three card's force totalled)
Following on, if we replace Yamadera with a Kaiu Nakano (4F), we'd instead have: Base force = 4 Actual force = 7 Unit force = 10
In the above examples, Yamadera would be a valid performing personality for Kuon's Legacy (Choose your performing personality with 7 or more base force...) while Nakano would not. Is this correct, or does the armour modify base force?

Indeed, Hida Yamadera's base force is always 8, and Kaiu Nakano's is always 4.
