Clarification of the Conquest Player Ability

Greetings Most Venerable Masters,

I have encountered a situation involving the Conquest Reaction and multiple plays of Retribution and/or The Perfect Moment. I am in complete agreement with the play of my opponent where after resolving a battle in which I attacked him, he reacted by playing a "Retribution" and a "The Perfect Moment", the Retribution to take a province, using the Conquest Reaction to straighten, and then assigning the same Conqueror Paragon to take a second province resolving The Perfect Moment. It was a brilliant play. My question concerns when he tried to justify doing so with three or more copies of Retribution and/or The Perfect Moment, and then using the Conquest Reaction more than once in the same turn to allow him to resolve all three additional attack phases with the same Conqueror. My question is this, can the Conquest Player Ability be used more than once during the same turn, even though it is an ability that does not specify it can?

Thank you kindly.

A player may use Conquest only once per turn, for the reasons you state. The number of Attacks Phases in a turn is irrelevant. The default usage limit of once per turn applies to Conquest as well.
