With the change to what effects constitute "equipping", does The Spider's Web count as equipping, or is it still just attaching?
Same question regarding Forge Your Soul.
Equip and The Spider's Web/Forge Your Soul
A topic from AEG's L5R CCG Rules forum, copied for Oracle of the Void from a copy of the forum saved in October 2015, so pages it didn't save are missing. Players' names are left out; the rules officials are named. Rulings are as they stood on these dates; later rulings, the rulebooks and the Rules Archive may differ.
"Equip" is gaining a new meaning as a shorthand for attaching effects, but the reverse is not true. Other cards that attach cards but don't use the word "Equip" still don't count as Equipping.
The plan, of course, is that in Ivory Edition "Equip" will be the standard for attaching things, but for now cards that don't use the term Equip don't Equip.
