What occurs if you play Deliberations and pay 0 gold for its action? Can it be used to destroy a 0F Follower, or will you need to spend 2G to do that?
Battle, * : Ranged Attack with strength equal to the amount you paid minus two.
Deliberations
A topic from AEG's L5R CCG Rules forum, copied for Oracle of the Void from a copy of the forum saved in October 2015, so pages it didn't save are missing. Players' names are left out; the rules officials are named. Rulings are as they stood on these dates; later rulings, the rulebooks and the Rules Archive may differ.
If you pay zero gold, the Ranged Attack will have a strength of zero. Stats don't have negative values (except Family Honor and Honor Requirement), and they're treated as zero if they would be lower than zero. See here
