Just a question on what to follow. I manage to gain control of a card(personality) through(Sachina, Black Marketeering, Shadow Dragon) then was removed from the game then goes back into play some time later via Step Through the Void. Since it wasn't specified where they enter play, my question is, which side of playing field do they enter, my home or the owners home?
Emperor Edition Core Comprehensive Rules says: Under Locations: "Locations Cards enter play in their controller’s home."(I did gain control of the card when it was removed from the game)
Under Card control: "Card control Cards come in play controlled by the player who brought them into play."(The other player did brought the card into play from there provinces)

Did he? That was not the last time they entered play, I'd think. If you controlled the Personality, then removed her from the game via Step Through the Void, then returned her into play, it was you who brought her into play (from the "outside the game" area). So you'd still control the Personality.
Your confusion lies on a restrictive interpretation of what "bringing into play" means; it isn't only entering play from a province, it's broader. Entering play means changing the state of a card from "out of play" (provinces, hands, discard piles, decks... all these areas mark a card as being "out of play" but the "outside the game" area is also an "out of play" area) to "in play" (homes and battlefields). If you rearrange a Personality from "outside the game" to "home", that counts as bringing her into play (and she would have to go through the entire process of entering-play areas, checking HR and restrictions, paying gold, etc. if Step through the Void didn't allow to ignore costs and restrictions).
