Can you feign death a created personality, such as a Lion ancestor, Mantis Spirit token, or Akuma's power personality? As far as I know the personality is removed from the game when they are destroyed.

Well, to be precise, you can play Feign Death and you'll lose 2 honour, but it won't return the Personality to play - see Areas of the Game, Outside the game: Cards outside the game will not enter other areas unless an effect specifically says it returns them from outside the game.
