Would phoenix clan personalities played through Pale Oak Castle be considered to have "printed tactician"?
Nope. I believe it refers to "printed" to get around both that SH and some Sensei that gave Tactician trait, along side items and other means.
If it's not there in ink on the card (or rather, in the text in the Oracle of the Void 🙂 ), it's not "printed".
That reminds me, if an effect grants a trait twice, it can only be used once, right? Unless it's granted after use, and then it "refreshes"? (Thinking mostly Tactician here.)
yes rulebook tactician rule says each perso can only use 1 tactical action per turn. The tactician boost is a tactical action. Some cards are also tactical actions. So you sometimes have to choose if your perso will performs the boost or a good strat card printed "tactical". Also it means you can have 12 tactician traits if you want, you only can use 1 tactical action on this perso anyway. 🙂
