That was such a huge boost for Unicorn back then.

Also for Open and Extended Jade, made Tashima boxable. That was big.
Oh, I think that was the box that got reprinted in Gold? 5/5/5 magistrates enter play for 1 less? In Gold I did not know what the point of the Magistrate discount was since there weren't many during that time for Unicrons.
That's the one.
However, Unicorn, historically to that point, had a very weak box. The move to the Otaku Palaces was a significant upgrade and gave them a really nice boost.
Just checked. In all of Gold edition three Magistrates for Unicorn were printed and one of them was unplayable.

That bad boy becoming boxable was huge. Especially with a 0FHR.

Ahh, he became Shinjo Osema in Gold.
And then he became Shinjo Shuilong, with the added benefit of dueling pirates...the big thing during Lotus.
