Current Official Rules Guys: AEG forum
In L5R-CCG Marty Lund is the official voice, only surpased by Jeff alexander itself. Previously was Zen Faulkes, but he resigned. Zen proudly maintains updated the Accumulated Rulings (very good work, useful and clear)
Zen hasn't dropped in status, he only stopped doing the daily answers.
I remember that another man was committed to answer rules officially, Rob Bowman? I don't remember, but he never appeared on L5R-CCG.
In the new AEG forum, who is the official voice? Marty, Zen Faulkes, both,...
The same as on here. Me, Marty, Zen, plus MaPhi Messner and Paul Jacoby.
- Marty Lund Deputy Rules Monkey
In short:
The card goes into one of the empty Provinces immediately. The active player chooses which.
Kakita Dojo [RULES]
When my opponent calls a strike in a duel, may I wait until after focus cards have been revealed to ues the Reaction on Kakita Dojo?
No. Declaring a Strike happens, and you must play Reactions to the Strike. Only after that window has passed are the focus values revealed and results calculated.
P.S. Thanks for clearing up the Togashi Kaiteru thing, but I wonder why the new templating wasn't used?? The way the card is worded, "After he enters a duel" is part of the cost of the action.
Check out the Web of Lies Rulesheet. The new templating works like this:
[Action Traits and Type] : [Reaction Timing] [Costs] : [Restrictions] [Targeting] [Effects]
Kaiteru's Reaction Timing is in the right part by new templating.

I think you answered my question..but just to clarify:
I strike.
My opponent plays Wear Him Down, and forfeits his ability to focus or strike.
I focus as I have to, (instead of my first strike) and then immediately strike again.
My opponent attempts to play a second Wear Him Down. Is this legal?
I say no, because my opponent has forfeited the right to focus or strike, and Wear Him Down is played instead of focusing.
Where does it say that "Wear Him Down" is played "instead of focusing?" It certainly does not say so in the card text, rule book, rulesheets, or rulings.
You can work 3 successive copies of Wear Him Down into single duel.
That should cover everything from Friday. If I missed your question, please repost it with the flag [RULES] as part of your Clear and Distinct subject line. I'll get back to you at the first opportunity.
