Shadowed Tower + Storm Heart

Can the personality issuing a Storm Heart bow to reshuffle the Storm Heart into the player's fate deck using the Shadowed Tower? If they do, does the challange still occur?

The Action continues as normally, even if the performing Personality becomes ineligible to perform the Action during the course of the play. Otherwise, To Do What We Must would never work, since you destroy the Performing personality as a cost. Spell casting would always fail with Spells that require bowing the Shugenja to pay the cost, too.

Performing cards just have to be valid choices when you initially choose them.

Card cloning and Singular (and a ramble)

Is it legal to Egg a Singular person you already control, and/or what happens when you control two copies of a Singular card? Same question with Dragon Pearl and a Singular Item, if there are any, though I hope it's the same answer.

You can copy Singular personalities you already control with the Egg of P'an Ku.

Singular prohibits you from gaining control of another copy of a singular card, either by bringing one into play under your control or gaining control of one already in play. However, you already have control of the Egg card before it becomes a copy of the Singular card in question. Ergo, you are not "gaining control" of anything - you already had it - so the Singular trait does not impact you.

question

does the Ambush attack phase block the trigger and make the action phase end before the Ambush and a new one start again after?

The Action Phase is all one phase, no matter how many Attack Phases are created by Ambushes to break it up. While resolving an Attack Phase from Ambush, consider the Action Phase to be "on hold."

Mercy

Anyway: What happens to the defending army at a battle where the province is destroyed and Mercy is played? Normally, defending units stay at the province they were defending until after the attack phase, but said province is no longer there. Are these units considered to go home or do they stay in some sort of "Ghost" province?

They go to where your Personalities are when they don't have anywhere else to be - your Home / Fief. There is no Province left in which to stand.

Doubts

"This cannot target a Personality whose Chi is greater than Jin's or greater than the discard's Focus value."

I must choose one or another, is it right?

No. That's not how OR statements work in true / false statements. You can not target the Personality is either of the two statements that follow are true.

The evaluation (X OR Y) returns the value of "true" if:

X is true but Y is false X is false by Y is true X is true and Y is true

If the evaluation (X OR Y) returns "true," you can not use Jin's ability, as per his card text, "You can not target ..." So the only time you can use Jin is when the Personality's chi is less than Jin's AND the less than the Focus Value, because that is the only time the "can not target" clause evaluates "false."

What If I target a bowed personality? The rulebook says that a bowed personality cannot issues a challenge! Is the personality automaticaly dishonored?

That's not what the rulebook says. The Rulebook says that bowed Personalities may not perform Actions that issue challenges. However, you can not have your opponent's Personalities perform your Actions. The personality hit by Temple of the Ninth Kami does not perform the Temple's action, so being bowed won't affect the matter at all.

When you says action, can I cancel a Ranged Attack against a bowed personality in a Battle or when it target's it with 'No Hidding Places'?

You can Cancel the Action making the Ranged Attack after the player taking that Action announces one of your bowed Personalities as the target.

If I use Kyuden Agasha, can Ratling conjuror attach spells like Kuro's Fire, Force of Will, Fist of Osano Wo? The printed gold cost are above 3, but the final gold cost are equal or bellow.

Ratling Conjuror cares only about the current Gold Cost of the Spell you are trying to attach, not the printed cost.

If i reshuffle far from the Empire with Shrine of the Sun, the raise that have already occured will continue or Shrine of the Sun turn it off?

The increase in the amount of honor required for an Honor Victory qualifies as "ongoing effects of that card" and is Negated by use of the Shrine of the Sun.

Reduction tricky thing

Let's suppose Tamago is political entanglement-ed twice, he now reads : reduce tamago's chi by -1 to.

So can I give +1ph to have him issue a challenge (5/4 peep is still beefy ^^). Well, I know it is pointless, but I wondered if such things were possible.

I'll send this to Jeff to see what kind of exact wording he wants to put on this, but I do not believe you can "reduce" something by a Negative Number, in plain English, anyway. I do understand the mathematical concept of subtracting a negative, though.

On: Tamago
RoF and DRoF

Unless I'm misreading the two cards, it seems to me that the Ring of Fire and Dark Ring of Fire seem to meet the playing requirements when you win two or more duels in one turn (RoF says "two or more", while DRoF says "more than 1"). If I win two duels in one turn, can I decide which order the Rings are played (play the RoF so the DRoF can come into play without blowing up)?

Sure. You can choose what order to drop them in.

That looks like everything that is not related to Wrath or fielded by Jeff. If I missed your question, please repost it with the flag [RULES] as part of a distinct and clear subject line. I'll get back to your at the first opportunity.
