Your Rules for Sunday, June 20, 2004
I played Show of Good Faith an opponent's Chuda Masaru, and destroyed him using the Suiteiru no Oni I had in play.
Then I played Feign Death on Chuda Masaru, thinking that he would now be permanently under my control.
The Judge ruled otherwise though i.e. that my opponent would regain control of Chuda Masaru at the end of my turn.
The Judge ruled incorrectly.
There is nothing on Show of Good Faith or in the Rules that supports the idea that you create some effect to transfer control of the Personality to the Player who controlled it when you first played Show of Good Faith.
Quite to the contrary. All Show of Good Faith does is create an on-going effect that says, "Player X controls this Personality." When that effect ends (at the end of the turn), control is no longer affected by it. That's all.
The controller of any Personality is, by default, the player who last brought that Personality into play under his or her control - not the owner. If Feign Death brought the Personality into player under your control, then you are the "default" controller of the Personality. When Show of Good Faith's effect ends, you're still the controller.
However, the Head Judge's ruling in a tournament is the law. While ruling incorrectly, the Head Judge was still "right" in the context of the event - though I hope the error is not repeated.
Kakita Mai XP's action targets one of your Personalities and another player's Personality, and issues a challenge. Is this action legal if your personality is bowed?
No. Your challenger would be "Performing" the Action, as well as Mai herself, as per page 71 of the Diamond Edition Rulebook.
"Actions which issue challenges from one of their own Personalities are performed by the challenger."
That's probably not the best English, I admit. It should probably read, "Actions that issue challenges from one of that Action's Player's Personalities are performed by the challenger."

That looks like everything for Sunday. If I missed your question, please repost it with a clear subject line including the flag [RULES] in the subject line and I'll get back to you at the first opportunity.
