Rules questions from the European Championship
Player A playes Tsuruchi Technique for its Battle Action. Player B wants to cancel it with Fall on Your Knees, because the term "Reaction" appears on the card.
Faith in my Clan cannot cancel Battle actions (card text), not anything with the word "Reaction" written on it.
Player A wants to attach Travelling Ronin during battle. Player B plays Faith in My Clan. What happens to the Ronins?
Back to hand (Diamond rules, pg. 72).
Player A attacks with one Personality. Player B defends and plays Barren Fields. A has no straight Holdings, but has a Rokuro at home. He negates the bowing. Player B demands that he continues to bow, as per card text of Barren Fields. Player A claims that he already fulfilled the terrain. Who's right?
Player B. ("The Attacker must bow attacking cards in this battle until the number is equal" -- the number's not equal, is it?
The Egg of Pan'Ku copies a Personality who has the +3/+3 bonus from New Emerald Champion. The bonus is copied as well, as it's a permanent change, right?
Yes.
Assuming the above is true, the Egg and its original attack. The Defender plays In Search of the Future. The bonus on the original is reduced to zero, obviously. What happens to the Force of the Egg?
Reduced to zero bonus.
Again, assuming the bonus is copied: The next turn, Unexpected Strike resolves and ends New Emerald Champion. Does the Egg's Force and Chi go down, or are they unaffected?
Down, because the Egg is acting as an exact duplicate.
While Political Distraction was in effect, would it be possible to refuse a challenge created by Kakita Ichiro Exp.?
No.
Would the West Wall of Otosan Uchi negate Force bonuses during the Battle Action Segment as well[?]
Yes.
Is it possible for a personality not controlled by its owner (Player A) to issue a challenge to a personality controlled and owned by Player A?
Yes.
The second restriction on Night Medallion applies only to abilities copied by its wearer or does it affect abilities copied from its wearer as well?
Wearer only ("this Personality").
