Rules question: Shinden Horiuchi
How does Shinden Horiuchi work with spells where the casting shugenja may remain bowed to sustain the spell's effect?
It doesn't. The effect ends because the Shugenja isn't bowed.
Questions
If the event honor and glory resolves, and I play a Test of might and a Rage and win both, do I gain 5 and 2 or 3 and 0?
The former, but note that there are still two honor gains, not one big gain.
If I play with Razor's Edge Dojo and the opponent target a personality in one of my provinces, does he have to discard a card?
No (precedent: Yodin Sensei).
Rules Question
I asked this before but had no response...
I just did a search and didn't see it in the list archives. It was apparently never posted.
I put a Blade of Penance on Hiruma Ashihei, he cancels being dishonored. So which is correct: #1 He never be able to attach Blade of Penance OR #2 He attaches the Blade of Penance, his trait cancels him being dishonored, he goes on to have a glorious career making 4 honor per duel won.
Blade of Penance may be attached, and because the dishonoring effect of Blade of Penance is not an action, Ashihei's trait does not protect him. This is a tentative ruling and may reverse.
A couple questions
Can Feign Death, Kisada's Fist or Kisada's Shrine negate the destruction of a wedge?
