Rules for 9 December 2003
One of my opponent's personalities has been targetted by my Ninja Kidnapper when Renewed Energy goes off. If he has enough unbowed gold, and no other unbowed personalities, is he forced to pay to unbow his kidnapped personality?
No. You can't take an Open action in the middle of resolving another action.
Hakai timing
How does Hakai interact with Kisada's Shrine, Feign Death, etc.? Can Hakai's second reaction be used to prevent those cards from bringing personalities back from the dead?
You'd have to read each card on a case by case basis. If a card prevents destruction, Hakai's ability would have no effect. If the card is returned to play *after* destruction, Hakai's ability would occur first, as hitting the discard pile is a normal part of destruction.
