Rules for 10 November 2003, Part 2
"A combined ranged attack acquires the traits of the ranged attacks comprising it." and the definition of Traits and Abilities on page 63. It is my unerstanding that a Phoenix Fire shugenja combining an innate Ranged Attack with the Ranged attack on a Spearmen would produce a "Phoenix Clan, Shugenja, Fire, Spearmen" Ranged attack.
Unfortunately, the word "trait" in the rulebook would probably be better described as "special characterstics."
Warrens w/ Are You W/ Me?
If "Are You With Me?" is in effect, how much Gold a Warrens player would be required to play for a Ratling Follower?

Barren Fields Question
Do you really have to bow all your cards even if it's more than the number of holding then you control even though there all bowed.

So how does this effects elemental cards, Master of Five, and such if "Wind" is now (or as of GE) a reserved term?
Er. Maybe a bad example -- don't worry, my comment wasn't meant to upend thing. "Sensei" is a better example of what I was talking about. When they became a card type, there were several cards that looked for Sensei, but they couldn't be used on the original Akodo Kage, who had the "Sensei" trait.
Togashi Teijo and Regions
Can Togashi Teijo discard a region from one of my provinces?
Not when it's attached to it, no.
I'm confused about the semantic differences between "in a province", "from a province",
These mean the same thing: a card not in play.
and "attached to a province."
A card in play.
Rules Question - Ratling Village
Can I bow and destroy the 0F Ratling follower created from Ratling Village to satisfy the cost of the [Warrens of the Nezumi stronghold]?
Yes.
