Yes. "Prevent this unit from becoming bowed by the battle" (card text).
Rules Question - The World is Empty
I tried to find it in the accumulated rulings but couldn't find anything on it.
When you don't find anything on specific cards, make sure you have a good search through the general rulings. In this case, the most relevant section is under Bonuses and Penalties: "The printed focus value for Fate cards is found in the circle at the bottom of the card. Special text that resets a card's Focus values (e.g., Burning Your Essence, Let Your Spirit Guide You) only affect the current Focus value."
If Player A focuses a Let Your Spirit Guide You on a personality with 3 personal honor and then Player B focuses The World is Empty and picks a focus value of 3, will the Let Your Spirit Guide be discarded or not[?]
The World is Empty does not refer to printed focus values (card text), so it looks for the current focus value. Let Your Spirit Guide You has been focused, so its focus value is 6 (card text). It is discarded.
Say No to Stagnant Corruption
So as it stands, I can run a Phoenix Stronghold with all Oni and Kolat and call it pure as wind driven snow[?]
