Can you play A Wish Granted to pop out a personality who's honor requirement is more than your current family honor?

[D]oes the 'result of a battle' [on Left Hand of the Emperor] mean battle resolution, or simply dying during battle?
Resolution.
A House of Tao question
After Strongholds are revealed, I place a Dark Ring on the table. How many cards do I remove from the game?
One.
0 Province Strength? Ruling
If I play "Luring Tactics" with Akodo Tadenori and Hida Koun to another province, then "Slaughter the Scout" by bowing Tadenori and destroying Hida Koun.

If Matsu Nimuro was assigned to a different battle thus lowering the province strength of this province to "0" do I destroy the province with Tadenori even though he is bowed?
No (Diamond Edition rulebook, page 84).
Ring of Air/Fire timing.
If I play the Ring of Fire after winning my second duel in my turn, can I then bow the Ring of Fire for it's effect[?]
Yes.
[I]f I play Ring of Air "after" casting three or more Spells and/or Kiho in a turn, can I then use my next opportunity to react to the third Spell or Kiho to unbow the personality who cast it by using the ring?
No. Bowing occurs when costs are paid; the action has not resolved.
House of Tao Q#2
If I play feeding on flesh and it causes one of my personalities to gain the shadowlands trait, does this get around the House of Tao clause, since I did not bring the shadowlands personality into play?
Yes.

I thought AEG had said that the Dark Rings do not count as rings for the purpose of the House of Tao.
Incorrect. The Dark Rings are specifically mentioned in House of Tao rulings in the Archive.
