Rules for 31 October 2003, Part 2

Zen Faulkes, sent 1 November 2003 to the l5r-ccg mailing list, the l5r-useful list

A rules digest from the L5R CCG rules team, copied from the mailing list archive for Oracle of the Void. The askers' names are left out. Rulings are as they stood on this date; later rulings, the rulebooks and the Rules Archive may differ.

Greetings,

Flee the Darkness versus Overwhelmed

We need an auto-reply message that says, "AAA Already Answered and Archived at: http://l5r.alderac.com/rulings/

Right now, that would be a bad idea, because the Archive is stuck partway between Gold and Diamond. And will be for some time. *sigh*

Improbable Schemes (was RE: [L5R-CCG] Tsuno & Kitsu)

Is Matsu Ikari's moving home, bowed an effect from someone using the Imperial Favor?

No, it's an effect of Matsu Ikari's trait.

IF a movement is negated by the right hand why dont rest of effects happen?

They do...

Such as bowing.

... Except in that case, which is clearly labeled as an exception in the Diamond Edition rulebook (pg. 72).

Actually, it isn't. DE rulebook pg 72 second paragraph: (Exception: if a card is "sent home bowed" and the movement is prevented or negated, do not move the card).

Oh, no...

The PDF of the Diamond Edition rulebook (which I've been using) says, "Do not *BOW* the card." I don't yet have a copy of the printed rulebook; can someone confirm what it says? I'm *really* hoping there isn't a typo there.
