If strongholds are exempt from the keyword rule, what's the point of giving them keywords, Port in this instance?
In this specific case, it's why the Diamond Edition Kyuden Gotei specifically says it is treated as a Port *card.*
As for the general case, the rule is there to stop strongholds from accidentally being subject to effects meant for cards. This goes way back to The Touch of Shinsei in Crimson & Jade, which keyed off "Temples." This should have then worked with the Naga and Phoenix strongholds at the time, but the design team wanted to isolate strongholds from most game effects.
I think I'm looking for a more exacting definition of what a stronghold with what is normally a keyword affects or will be affected by.
Nothing, unless specific stronghold or card text overrules it.
Purification Q.
Purification says that you bow the caster when one of your personalities has just died to put the dead peep in your leftmost province. The next sentence says to discard any cards in that province first. Just to be sure, if your leftmost province is the Plains of Otosan-Uchi, you must discard both cards in it, put in your dead guy, then put one more in.
No. "Discard ANY cards..." Lose them both.
Diamond Edition Tactician and Naval.
For those of you keeping track at home this means that a Tactician can give ANOTHER personality the force bonus.
No. Tactician works the same way as it did before.

Some key words up there in that sentence. "only one army". Which means that: You assign a fully naval army to Province A. You assign a fully naval army to Province B. You do Province A first. You may NOT declare a naval invasion, because there's not ONLY ONE army that's fully naval, you have another one in Province B.
One army *for that battle.*
