Greetings,
Training Grounds Question
Siege of Sleeping Mountain and Storms Over Matsu Palace reprinted several staple cards (Sneak Attack, Focus) to get new players up to speed.
That also had the undesirable effect of experienced players snagging them for the rares, thus keeping them *out* of the hands of the very players they were meant to teach.
Castle of the Wasp
I'm sure that this has already been addressed so I appologize if this question is redundant.
All questions answered, no questions asked!
Can you ever use it to drop a provence's strength below 0?
No (Gold Edition rulebook, page 31).
Date of DE tournament legality?
I thought I saw it implied on this list (perhaps by Zen?) that Diamond base set cards would be tournament legal immediately after release instead of 30 days after release.
"Speculated" would be more accurate than "implied."
Corruption's Price
Can I play this card if my opponent bows a Shadowlands holding but does not control a non-Shadowlands Personality or a Jade Card?
No (Gold Edition rulebook, pg. 46).
2 Rules questions
Can Matsu Masutaro attach an ancestor with an honor requirement above 1?
Yes. Ancestors are not Followers (Gold Edition rulebook, pg. 2).
If I play Agasha Chieh out of the Noble Halls stronghold, can she attach other clans' ancestors as if she was a Lion shugenja?
No. Being a member of a family (i.e., Matsu, Ikoma, etc.) is not a requirement for attaching Ancestors (Gold Edition rulebook, pg. 29-30).
