Greetings,
Writ of Conscription
I want to play a follower[...] the opponent uses his Writ of Conscription to raise the cost of my follower by 3. I suppose I can decide not to pay the extra gold, right ?
Yes (Gold Edition rulebook, pg. 45).
I think the action is cancelled, so the follower will be discarded, is that still ok ?
No; it returns to hand (Gold Edition rulebook, pg. 45)
what happens to my gold ? If the action is cancelled, any gold spent so far for the action is lost, right ?
Yes (Gold Edition rulebook, pg. 45).
Cancelling a "once per turn" action
When a "once per turn / battle..." action is cancelled, can I try to do it again during the same turn / battle... ?
Yes (Gold Edition rulebook, pg. 45).
Tchickchuk + The price of war
When The Price of War is in effect, does Tchickchuk reduce the gold cost of a ratling to zero anyway, or do I have to pay 2 gold for the ratling ?
Whatever the cost gets raised to, Tchickchuk makes it zero.
Question
Can Kuni Tansho use her ability turing a battle while she is at your home?
I will not answer the specific question, but the Gold Edition rulebook (pg. 54) specifies what "opposing" means.
Temples of New Tao question
What about personalities that are both Monk and Samurai? Do they get +6F or just +3F ?
Currently, only 3F.
Duel Question?
[Opponent playes Iaijutsu Challenge. Player uses Accept with Honor.]
Doji Jotaro tries to Rhetoric my gain so I respond with Enough Talk! Now which duel should resolve first[?]
Actions in L5R resolve completely, one at a time (Gold Edition rulebook, pg. 47). The last action was Enough Talk! That must finish first.
Ambush and Show of Good Faith
I know that Ambush counts as declaring an attack, but is it still possible to use Ambush while you have someone under you from a Show?
No.
Another Duel Question?
Reju chanllenges Rokuro and Rokuro accepts so the duel has begun but Joraro steals Rokuro's honor from the Accept With Honor so Rokuro starts the duel with Joraro, they focus and Rokuro wins. Now he has been in his duel the whole time with Reju so his Chi bonuses were made from focusing in a duel with Reju while dueling Joraro?
I think you're asking if a personality in a "nested" duel can gain benefits of focusing in more than one duel.
No (Gold Edition rulebook, pg. 61).
