What's the timing of the +2 chi granted by dotanuki ?
It applies automatically after the challenge is accepted (Rules Archive, General Rules, Duels).
reactions question
It says in the rulebook, that the same rules apply to Battle and Open actions during Attack Phase, but what about reactions?
Not bound by Presence or Relevence (Winds of Change rulesheet).
Mulitple Rings
If a Ratling Player using the new stronghold steals a discarded Ring from another players discard, can he/she put it into play (assuming satisfying the requirements for playing it), even if he/she already has a copy of that Ring in play?
Yes. Rings are not Unique.
Timing question
He moves Latomu to province A tries to do a range on my peep. I react to his moving with "slaughter the scout" What happens ?

does "Tsuno" in the card title give the card the tsuno trait and make it available for the bonus from Nikushimi[?]
