Rules for 26 June 2003
[Re: misbacked cards]
Didn't think AEG was letting those cards be worth Koku anymore?
Maybe you're thinking of Forbidden Knowledge koku no longer being worth twice as much.
Else I'd really like to redeem my Devastation of Beiden Pass for 3 (or was it 5?)
Devastation of Beiden Pass is not a misbacked card.
Some quick rules questions
Could someone please answer this questions for me ?
Yes.
Can I use Daidoji Rekai ability if I don't make a ranged attack?
No. Gold rules, pg. 46.
Can I use Daidoji Rekai ability if she is already in the battle to move her to the same battle, make ranged attack, etc. ?
Yes. Rules Archive (http://www.legendofthefiverings/rulings), Specific cards, Personalities, Daidoji Rekai.
Can I use Matsu Hataki ability if he is already at the battle to umbow him and move him to the same battle?
Yes. Rules Archive, General Rules, Battle, Action Segment.
I cast 'I give you my name'. Do I still lose honor and have to pay the extra costs of the oni (a personality - tsuburo, holding - Kyoso) ?
Kyoso no Oni's holding destruction is an entering play effect, not a cost. Similarly, honor losses are usually entering play effects (Gold rules, pg. 25).
I Give You My Name only waives Gold costs (card text), not non-Gold costs or entering play effects.
The same about 'Turn of fate' Do I still lose honor and have to pay the extra costs of the oni?
Turn of Fate waives all costs (card text), but not entering play effects. What you will have to do will vary on a case-by-case basis.
