KYD questions
A few questions about 1000 years of darkness:
1) Heroic Sacrifice and Mirumoto Tokeru: If Tokeru has two weapons attached, and plays Heroic Sacrifice to remove the double chi trait, would he immediately gain it back, since he didn't lose the "Gains Double Chi while he has two weapons attached", he merely lost the Double Chi trait, and so it would reassert itself?
The most recent effect removed his trait, so he would not have it.
a) if he does lose the Double Chi trait, what happens if one of his weapons gets destroyed and he gets another weapon attached? would he get double chi then?
Yes.
2) Oracle of Thunder Is the fact that the Oracle of Thunder is ExperiencedKYD rather than just Experienced, yet still gold legal, merely a reflection of the fact that the KYD version is Kaede, but that there is an Oracle of Thunder in gold, namely, Tonbo Toryu? ie, is it just a storyline reason, or will there be another Oracle of Thunder Experienced card printed, with a different ability, and you just wanted both to be in the environment?
It maintains the option of creating an Experienced Oracle of Thunder in the standard timeline.
3) A Wish Granted I seem to recall seeing this asked, but I don't remember seeing the answer. Do you need to meet the honor requirement of the person you bring into play, and do you gain the honor for their PH in play, or do you follow normal honor-gaining rules for bringing people into play?
You are bound by all play restrictions. You do not gain Honor unless you pay full price for someone during your Dynasty Phase.
Can you choose a bowed person to be destroyed?
Not if you control it. (In a multiplayer game, it is possible for one player to play it and choose a bowed unit belonging to someone else but still in his army.)
Do ninja shapeshifters target the card they copy?
I was wondering if ninja shapeshifters can copy a bowed card's ability.
It cannot copy an ability from one of your own bowed Personalities, since it targets the card it copies from.
Do ninja shapeshifters target the card they copy?
Along the lines of copying, can a shinjo tech. turn back a shosuro tech? (in a battle not a duel)
No.
By the most recent wording of Shinjo Technique and the Gold Edition rulebook, the new target chosen by Shinjo Technique must be BOTH a Personality controlled by the Shosuro Technique's player AND a Personality that could have been targeted with Shosuro Technique originally. The second target of Shosuro Technique (and, for that matter, any other action that must target an "opposing" card) cannot be changed with Shosuro Technique because there is never (*) a Personality who fits both criteria.
(*) Ignoring weird Ninube Ogoku and Monk Advisor combos.
