Legality of KYD (AEG STAFF)
I was wondering the offical release date of 1000 years of darkness for an upcoming tournament I was going to attend in a few weeks. Just curious, thanx.
The cards aren't legal until November 1st.
Yu and Sorrow's Path
This came up in our gaming session last night:
Will Yu trigger when the personality is being destroyed by a Sorrow's Path? I don't think so but I could use an official wording.
No. The Yu trait works only when you die in the Resolution Step due to losing a battle. [DA rulebook p. 65, or BB rulesheet]
Hante Kachiko question
I believe the question is because Kachiko (at least in the preview) doesn't have the Experienced 3(KYD) tag on her, but insted just Experienced 3. Also, what about a character that started out as a non-unique individual. For example, would you be able to overlay the exp3 on 1 base Kamoko, then overlay the exp3KYD version over a second base Kamoko?
No. [GE page 36] Overlaying is still bound by the Uniqueness rule.
Ranged attack/follower question
If a follower only has a +X listed as their printed force (in other words, if they're only providing a force bonus to their attached personality), what is their own force considered for the purpose of ranged attacks?
Gold rulebook, p. 32: "Followers add their Force and Chi directly to the Personality only when their own stats have "+" signs. Otherwise, they add their values to their unit's total instead."
So all the "+" changes is how the Follower's Force adds to other things. Its own Force is still "X". You need a Ranged X Attack or higher to kill it.
Rules Question for tha playaz
If my Dragon clan personality is dishonored while Ki-Rin's Shrine (Experienced) is in play, is the personality's personal honor equal to 1 or 0.
0. Always apply Dishonor's reduction after any other changes. [GE rulebook p. 60]
