Sorry for the delay, folks. Things have been hectic-and-a-half here in the office trying to get Broken Blades to press. We very much want to hit the summer convention season, understandably so, and everything else has gotten nudged to what we in the gaming industry refer to as "the back burner".

Can I use Be Prepared to Dig Two Graves in response to one of my personalities dying to a Sorrow's Path? (assuming they have defenders)

Yes. It is still "during a battle" when Sorrow's Path happens.

why don't you use light mounted infantry as they are both an infantry follower and a cavalrey follower

Incorrect.

Card keywords are ignored when there's a definition involved. [p. 33] A card is "infantry" if and only if the Keyword Rule does not make it cavalry.

They follow the same rules as every other action type. That's not nearly the same as saying "they always target".

Joining The Imperial Assembly

Does anyone know if there is a place online you can join the assembly at or do you have to send it one of those little forms from the rulebook?

Crab Tattoo Question

Curious. The Rulings Archive states Crab Tattoo as an example of an action which Togashi Genshuo/Hitomi Juppun may not gain Force bonuses from. But it's not an action that gives him the bonus; it's assignment/location.

Wrong. That's when the bonus begins. It was still given to him by the Action card. Mechanically, there's no difference in the source of a bonus from a card that says "give someone +1F right now" and "give someone +1F at the start of your next turn," for example.

Tsuno Takuma Question

I know that back in February, it was stated that there were 2 different versions of Tsuno Takuma out there. I do remember hearing later that in fact there was only one, and the complaint about there being two different versions was unfounded. Is this the case?

There is only one version.

increased cost and imp census rules question

Prize of war states it only increases costs during the dinasty phase,so the imperial census will strike at full power, but what about "firebird falls" , "festival of the river of stars" , "kado" , "kolat duplicate" ,"kyuden kitsune", "utaku palaces". Do they increase or modify always the gold cost or only during the dinasty phase?

They modify costs when they say they do: Festival raises their costs at all times, Firebird Falls raises them while they're entering play, etc.

Can i use bad kharma to cancel an action card if playing the card brings my opponent to negative honor, let´s say a kolat assassin.

Can i use yokatsú sensei´s action "to put a follower from my hand as a battle action" to attach a kolat geisha to an opponent´s personality.
