No, by the MRP of the Shadowlands Horde and Spawning Grounds. You're not allowed to take the action even if the person who would suffer the loss is immune to it.
Series of simple questions
Hey All, Another list of possibly dead questions for everyone. I just want to make certain that I have some of these basic rules straight in my head so that I don't make bad rules calls for some newbies in my area.
1.) You may not use a scout to play a terrain from underneath the armor of Sun Tao or via the Oracle of Earth, correct?
Incorrect. You may use any action which "plays" a Terrain in conjunction with the Scout, including both the Oracle of Earth and the Armor of Sun Tao.
2.) If a personality with double chi focuses Strike of Flowing Water then a card with the focus value of X, in total he's focused 2x3 (from SoFW) plus 4X (the focus card having it's value quadrupled from the doubling effect of SoFW being doubled again by double chi) for a total of 6 + 4X, right?
Right.
3.) Another Time will not end a duel if used as a focus card AFTER Judgement of Toshiken has been played, correct?

4.) Are terrains a type of battle action or their own classification of action? Meaning, can you cancel a terrain with Know the Enemy and/or use One Life, One Action on them?
A Terrain is a type of Action card in much the same way as a Weapon is a type of Item and a Retainer is a type of Holding. Anything that works against Battle actions or even Action cards in general will work on them.
Zero value Chi
I seem to remember a rule saying that a personality with 0 Chi is destroyed, but now I can't find the urle in the rulebook, and am not clear how it works.
It's still there. Page 29.
Honor's Lesson Dojo
I think I already know the answer, but I just wanted to be sure. Regarding Honor's Lesson Dojo:
Unique. Reaction: Bow after all players pass consecutively in a battle and before delayed terrains resolve to perform one Battle or Open action.
This can't be used in a battle with Deadly Ground in play, correct? Since this is still part of the battle, Deadly Ground is still in effect when this card's trigger goes off, right?
Right. No HLD during Deadly.
Togashi Hoshi
Does the Dragon's claw katana count as a dragon item?
Yes. [DA rulebook p. 33]
What items besides the Celestial sword of the dragon count as dragon items in gold?
The Celestial Sword and the Dragon's Claw Katana are it so far.
Matsu Satomi Legality
Will Matsu Satomi be legal when DA is legal, or when Broken Blades is legal as I anticipate, since she was released after DA?
Not until Broken Blades.
Ony reason I ask this is she is a Season of the Lion League card, and not a regular promo.
That doesn't matter.
