Soshi Eiji Question
New Scorpion clan Courtier in AoF:
Scorpion Clan Courtier Political Limited: Bow Eiji and target a card which causes a non-variable Honor loss to its controller when one of its actions is used. Select one of those losses. Eiji causes the card’s controller an equal Honor loss.
Now, my question is, let's say your a scorpion and playing against an honour running Kaiu walls deck with poorly placed gardens. You play Deeds, Not Words against the Crab during your turn.
Now, since the poorly placed gardens have the ability to loose honour, can you use Soshi Eiji to cause an honour loss?
Yes, because it's know beforehand that the Gardens will produce an Honor loss.
Ring of Air
I am trying to enlighten in Gold...stop laughing!! Using Kyuden Hitomi...ok, one more snicker out of you and that's it!! I have a problem with some advice given to me about the Dragon Tattoo to drop the Ring of Air. The wording and the sheer cheese of it is grating on me. Can anyone confirm the ability to use Dragon Tattoo three times in succession to fulfill Air?
If you play the Dragon Tattoo on a shugenja, yes.

2) Will To Do What We Must allow a weenie to take out any unit with a bowed personality?
Yes, since TDWWM compares unit Force to unit Force.
??? I have always thought a bowed unit doesnt give force to the army but the unit still has force and by extension the cards in the unit still have force (ranged attacks).
The individual cards in the unit still have Force. It's the Force total of the unit that suffers.
Ring of Air
yep if it is on a shugenja i believe no on a samurai...not sure about that. If you want to make the Cheese even worse use it three time to add 0 fire tokens to your personality :)
No longer legal, by MRP of the Dragon Tattoo.
Whack packs
Yesterday someone got 8 rares and an uncommon or something out of an APC booster pack. Just wondering if this is a screw up or does alderac throw these crazy packs in one in a while just for fun?
We don't make packs like this on purpose, no. They're production errors.

The cards still have force, but the term "Force Total" or "Total Force" of a unit now has a glossary definition that takes bowing into account.
Wow. TDWWM just got a whole lot stronger. Scorpion players should like this change.
What change? TDWWM has always cared about total unit Force, and every rulebook since Anvil of Despair -- the set where TDWWM appeared -- has defined the Force Total of a unit to exclude bowed Followers and to be 0 if the Personality is bowed. This is neither a new ruling nor new behavior for the card. It's always worked like this.
