Reaction question
When you play Fall on Your Knees to cancel a reaction, does it cancel the entire reaction?
Yes.
Specifically, if I play Slaughter the Scout to bow a personality to destroy a personality, and my opponent plays Fall on Your Knees, is my personality still bowed?
Yes. It was a cost.
Or, if I play Poisoned Weapon and my opponent plays Fall on Your Knees, do I still lose the honor for having played it?
No. That was not a cost.

If I bow a tactician and use Know the Enemy to cancel a To Do What You Must, is the personality that destroyed itself still destroyed?
Under the Gold Edition MRP of To Do What We Must, the destruction of the player's own unit is a cost. The entire unit will stay dead.
Inner Fire question
As of Gold Ed, the default use of Tactician targets the personality, so no, you can't use the Tactitian trait after you play Inner Fire on a personality.
I have a question along these lines.
Can you use an action on a personality who has had IF played on them that targets someone/thing else? For example, a built-in ranged attack on someone?
If the ranged attack doesn't require bowing the Personality (since that's also disallowed by Inner Fire), yes. Selecting which card's ability to use is not a targeting decision. (If it were, there'd be no reason to define which actions are targeted -- they'd all be!)
Tower of the Asako? question...
can I use it's ability if my shugenja is not in a battle with the samurai who is being targeted?
Yes.
can I use this ability while the stronghold is bowed if I am bowing a shugenja to negate the effects?
No.
The Spawning Ground & The Shosuro Gardens
I just bought the gold edition shadowlands starter, and I noticed that The Spawning Ground does not have the gold logo. Is this a misprint?
I've looked at every sample of the product I could find in the office and I see the logo on every one. Since the card only appears once, on one sheet, once you've seen one you've seen all of them. I'd double-check to make sure yours is really from Gold Edition.
Also, are the Shosuro Gardens only allowed to target legal targets, or when someone targets my attacking samurai with Refugees, can I redirect it to another samurai at home?
All redirection effects are bound to other legal targets.
